To become a PMP certified you should demonstrate that you:

Seven Steps to Become PMP

PMP Certificate Costs:

PMP cost contains the fee for preparation class, PMI membership and exam booking. You also need to pay the certificate renewal fee every three years to keep your certificate valid - as you passed the exam successfully.

These costs are illustrated in the blow chart:

It's worth mentioning that as you paid the exam booking fee you have 3 chances to pass the exam during a one year period; it means that you can take the exam three times without paying additional fee.
